Lent is around the corner starting on Ash Wednesday, March 2, 2022. People observe lent by fasting, worshiping, Bible studying, giving up something, and prayer. Kids love to pray! So Children’s Ministries at Bethlehem Lutheran Church – Twin Cities has put together 40 Days to Pray! It is as simple as 1-2-3!
- Starting Ash Wednesday, kids scratch off one of the squares with a coin.
2. There is a prayer prompt to help kids expand their prayer: Dear God, today we pray for [scratch off a prayer], and help them [fill in the blank]. Amen.
3. At the end, everyone says “Amen!”
Supplies are pretty simple: scratch off stickers from Amazon and the prayer page PDF!

Any suggestions on the best type of paper to use for printing this before applying the stickers? I’m thinking a thicker cardstock would be best for fear that scratching a sticker could result in a tear? Would love any practical tips like that!
