One thing about being under a “stay at home” or “shelter in place” order is that online collaboration has gone full throttle. First is Faith Finder Fun, a creative collaboration of six churches to provide fun faith finds for families. We have a YouTube channel and a Facebook Page.
Second is The Front Door Movement, a creative collaboration of seven churches to engage and encourage people with Easter joy by simply placing a cross on one’s front door. We have a Facebook Page that is just getting started.
And now! It is a new on Bible study called Pastor Sisters led by two pastors who are also sisters! Pastor Heather Roth Johnson serves at St John’s Lutheran Church in Lakeville, MN and Pastor Terri Roth Landers serves at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Augusta, Georgia.
Pastor Sisters is a Bible Study for Contemporary Times. We are using The Wired Word for discussion, and discussion questions can be found here. Each week the topic corresponds with a “ripped from the headlines” issue and connect it with scripture by asking big questions and discussion. Zoom Bible Study meetings will be held on Thursdays at 7:30 PM EST or 6:30 PM CST. If you would like to participate, please let us know by filling out the online Registration Form so that we can connect with you via email and keep you posted on upcoming topics and discussions.
If you are interested in joining us, please let me know at heatherrothjohnson@gmail.com. Thanks!
